Student Integrity & Community Standards
The Cornerstone of Agnes Scott Life
The cornerstone of student life is the Honor System, founded on student's support, mature judgment, and personal integrity. By entering Agnes Scott, a student voluntarily pledges support to the regulation and spirit of the community. As a member of this community, students accept a definite responsibility for their fellow students, which leads to responsible freedom within the structure of the Honor System.
The Honor System is an expression of trust in students and their willingness to uphold the ideals of the community. Under the Honor System, social and academic regulations are based on their value to the community and the individual student.
